About Meyers Water Company.
Meyers Water Company was formed in 1967 by Stan and Opal Meyers, although a well has existed at 1830 Milton since 1950. Jay Gardner, Pam Simonson, Matt Fullner and Juell Fullner purchased the company in 2004. The system has approximately 99 customers. Matt Fullner is the main water system operator and he has earned a Water Distribution Grade 4 license and a Water Treatment Grade 2 license (MWC is only required to have an operator with a D1). Jay Gardner also possesses a Water Distribution Grade 2 license. As owner/operators who live in the neighborhood, we have endeavored to improve the system, while keeping rates low for our ratepayers. In an effort to increase the reliabillity of our operations in 2004, we upgraded the entire well system, including new pumps, motor controls and a new well casing.
We work closely with County of Napa Environmental Health Management and the California Public Utilities Commission to keep our water system conforming to the State of California’s small water system code and all drinking water health regulations.
